South Shore Decorating Blog: A Reader's Beautiful Kitchen and Other Kitchens I Love

I know that as a hostess I love to entertain and also like to express myself. I like my guests so everything that helps me run my kitchen more evenly. I'm all for it. In addition, I get to enjoy my kitchen wall decor every day moving freely in my kitchen without the mess.

Decorating the walls of a kitchen with functional living room interiors can be both advantageous as well as saving space and also make your kitchen smoother. I can't imagine having it any other way.

Having the wrought iron hanging pot stand over the stove gives me quick and easy access to my pots and at the same time gives a warm and homely feel to my kitchen and also saves space. In addition, the beautiful wrought iron turrets that I use to dig out the back of my kitchen cabinet are displayed on my wall and look wonderful and functional. A wine rack hanging on the wall showing 3 or 4 bottles of my favorite wine for me or my friends to choose from. My collection of serving trays that I show above my kitchen cabinets that match my decor that fits well to serve my favorite journeys and are on hand when needed. The wall rack with hooks hanging next to my back door is great for quick and easy access to my incoming and outgoing mail, memory blocks, pens and keys. Let's not forget my BIG round clock that hangs in the dining room that says a bold statement or the wall art grouped on the wall.

It is such a pleasure to be able to sit in my kitchen and look around and see how beautiful it looks as well as how organized it also feels. Just know that it takes some work to design a layout on how you want your kitchen to flow and what special style you are looking for. You may want the French country, modern sharp looking look or maybe just traditional. So sit back and grab that cup of coffee and take in your surroundings. Think about what you love in your kitchen and what you want to do to improve it. Look for space on the walls. Keep your imagination going and keep it simple, clean, organized and functional. Remember to keep your kitchen decor within the same theme to make it flow nicely.
